Applications:Bis[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]tetrasulfide has multiple functional groups. It is successfully applied in rubber industry.
This product is used to improve modulus and tensile strength of rubber, to reduce compound viscosity and save
process energy consumption. This silane coupling agent is especially applicable for polymers with double bond
or rubber formulation with hydroxyl fillers. The suitable fillers are silica, silicate and clay, etc. Bis[3-(triethoxysilyl)
propyl]tetrasulfide is suitable for many kinds of rubbers such as natural rubber (NR), butadiene styrene rubber
(SBR), isoprene rubber (IR), butadiene rubber (BR), acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and ethylene propylene
diene rubber (EPDM), etc.
Packaging and Storage:Bis[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]tetrasulfide is packed in 25KG/200KG drum, IBC or ISO tank.
This product is sealed and stored in cool and well ventilated place away from fire and water.
