As a cost-effective replacement product for SILFOAM® SC 132, this Chinese-made compound ensures superior foam suppression in detergents and industrial applications.
SilibaseDFS-G98L is a viscous, opaque antifoam compound that is effective against a wide range of surfactants. It is an efficient defoamer body, mainly composed of polydimethyl siloxane and special compounds reacted under specific conditions. The dosage is small, there are no side effects, and the structure will not be damaged under harsh systems such as high temperature and strong shear, making it effective for a long time.
At the same time, it is also the master batch of silicone lotion defoamer - silicone grease (Compound). This silicone grease has strong defoaming performance, good foam inhibition, and a wide range of acid and alkali resistance. But it is not easy to emulsify and has certain requirements for emulsification technology. The requirements for the emulsifier, process, and equipment for reprocessing are also high. It is recommended to use our company's compatible silicone polyether emulsifier.

Application Details
Chinese company sells SilibaseDFS-G98L, a premium silicone antifoam with high viscosity and broad pH tolerance for global markets.
SilibaseDFS-G98L is based on high-molecular polysiloxanes and has an average viscosity of approx. 20,000 mPa s. Even small amounts are particularly effective in suppressing foam in laundry detergents and systems with a high surfactant concentration.
By virtue of its structure, SilibaseDFS-G98L can be used in smaller amounts than conventional silicone antifoam agents.
This makes it particularly suitable for use in detergents and other formulations with a high surfactant concentration to ensure considerably more persistent foam suppression.
Despite its comparatively high viscosity, it is readily dispersible in aqueous surfactant formulations.
Apart from laundry detergents, SilibaseDFS-G98L is useful in wetting-agent-containing systems whose efficiency is reduced by the action of shearing and dispersion forces. SilibaseDFS-G98L also has a foam-suppressing and deaerating effect on anhydrous synthetic resins.
Usage Method:
Substitute for SILFOAM® SC 132, SilibaseDFS-G98L delivers excellent performance in harsh conditions while reducing dosage requirements.
Add 0.1 parts per thousand, and the specific amount should be added according to the usage requirements during processing.
Packaging, Storage and Transportation:
This product is packaged in 50KG plastic drums or 1000KG IBC drums. The product can be stored indoors in a cool and dry place at room temperature for a period of two years. If there is no significant change after expiration, it can still be used without affecting product performance.
