Methyl silicone SilibaseSRD-242A is a solution-type coating for mica lamination. It is a product independently developed by our company. SilibaseSRD-242A can be diluted with solvents such as toluene, xylene, and ethanol. After hardening, it will not soften when exposed to heat and has excellent solvent resistance.

Packaging and Storage
This product is packaged in iron barrels or plastic barrels;
Stored in a dry, cool and ventilated place, avoid direct sunlight and rain, and isolate from fire and heat sources. Under this condition, the effective storage period is 6 months;
When transporting the product, it should be protected from sunlight, rain, inversion, open flames are strictly prohibited, and it should be transported as flammable goods.
Performance and Uses
China Equivalent KR-242A silicone resin outperforms conventional adhesives, increasing mica board output by 2-3% while maintaining low smoke generation and solvent resistance.
1. This product can be cured into a film when heated to 110-130℃ after adding appropriate curing agent. The film is transparent and can increase adhesion. It is used in the automotive, electronics and other industries. When used, appropriate additives or curing agents can be added as needed.
2. Compared with the adhesive used for mica lamination, it can be used as a heating plate to obtain a higher quality product. (Heating plate uses such as irons, hair dryers, toasters, microwave ovens, etc.)
3. It allows various heat-resistant pigments, flame retardants, low-melting-point glass raw materials, etc. to be evenly dispersed, and a coating for resistors that does not emit smoke and has a very low ignition point is obtained.

Spray the adhesive solution on the integrated mica foil, so that the attached resin part is 8-10%, and heat it in a hot air drying oven at 100-130℃ for 5-10 minutes to allow the solvent part to disperse. If the heating time is too long at this time, the resin will gel and cannot be formed. If the heating time is too short, the solvent will remain, resulting in low strength or poor contact.
