Applications:1. The 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane has special effect used as the metal surface rust inhibitor.
It can be used to treat the surface of gold, silver, cooper and other metals. This silane coupling agent
helps to improve the corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance of the surface of these metals.
It can also enhance the adhesion capacity of resin polymer.
2. In the rubber industry, 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane is commonly used to process inorganic fillers,
such as white carbon black, carbon black, glass fiber and mica, etc. It can effectively improve the mechanical
properties and wear resistance of the rubber.
3. This product can also be used in anti-shrinking finishing process for fabric in the textile industry.
4. The 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane can be used as raw material of hair-care products.
