Modified silicone heat-resistant coating

The modified polymer prepared by introducing 30% organic silicon resin into alkyd resin can be dried at room temperature. It has excellent weather resistance, with a service life 2-3 times longer than unmodified alkyd paint. Can be used in construction, bridges, ships, and other fields. Polyester modified silicone resin not only improves mechanical strength and water and moisture resistance, but also has little effect on heat resistance when the polyester content is below 25%. Therefore, it is suitable as a heat-resistant insulation paint. Epoxy modified silicone resin has high oil resistance, mechanical strength, and adhesion, and is commonly used as aviation heat-resistant coatings and high-temperature coatings. Acrylic modified silicone coatings have good light resistance and weather resistance. Polyurethane modified silicone coatings can dry at room temperature and have good oil resistance and adhesion. Therefore, it is widely used as an oil and heat resistant coating. Although these modified silicone coatings have lower heat resistance than pure silicone coatings, they are still popular as heat-resistant coatings with excellent solvent resistance, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength for high-temperature chemical equipment, heaters, aircraft, and automotive engine exteriors.
