The adhesion between the coating and the metal substrate first increases and then gradually decreases. The increase in adhesion may be due to the secondary curing of the coating film under the action of temperature, resulting in cross-linking into a more dense network structure system; When the temperature continues to rise, the stress contraction will occur due to the different coefficient of thermal expansion of the coating film and the substrate, which will reduce the bonding strength between the interfaces.

In addition, comparing the adhesion curves of modified coatings with different silicone ratios of 30%, 50%, and 70% with temperature, it can be seen that the adhesion of coatings with 30% silicone halo content in modified resins decreases significantly under thermal stress, while the adhesion of modified coatings with 70% silicone content decreases relatively little with temperature, The adhesion of modified coatings with 50% organic silicon content varies less with temperature than that of modified resins with 30% organic silicon content. The adhesion is highest at around 100 ° C, and is roughly the same as that of modified resins with 70% organic silicon content at 250 ° C and 300 ° C; This is because high or low organic silicon content has an impact on the comprehensive performance of modified resin coatings. If it is too high, the heat resistance of modified resin coatings is improved, but the conventional performance decreases; If it is too low, the conventional performance of modified resin coatings is good, but the heat resistance is poor; Overall, modified resin coatings with a 50% organic content have relatively good heat resistance and conventional performance.

When the organic silicon content is less than 30%, the content of Si-0-Si chains in the modified resin is too low, and the heat resistance performance cannot be effectively improved; With the increase of organic silicon content, the heat resistance of modified resin varnish gradually improves, mainly due to the increase in the content of Si-0-Si chains in the resin, which improves the heat resistance of the modified resin; But as the content of organic silicon continues to increase, the content of epoxy groups in the resin also gradually decreases. When the content of organic silicon exceeds 70%, the adhesion, flexibility, and impact resistance of the varnish after high-temperature baking rapidly decrease. Therefore, the organic silicon content should be between 40% and 60%.
