Description:
Silibase-2891 is a non-hydrolytic foam stabilizer of polysiloxane polyether copolymer, with a silicon-carbon bond. It is a new modified product which is mainly used in rigid foam of PU plastic.

Features：
• Silibase-2891 has good solubility and stability in the premixed systems containing isocyanate, polyether polyol,
blowing agent of fluorocarbon, water, catalyst of amine and organic tin, and fire retardant.
• Silibase-2891 can significantly reduce or even eliminate the ‘shear line’ phenomenon of plastic products,
which helps to improve the insulation effect of refrigerators and freezers, and enhance the bonding strength
of the foam and the refrigerator shell.
• Silibase-2891 is particularly suitable for the foam formulation of low fluoride, can reduce the amount of CFC-11
more than 50%.
• Because of the above advantages, Silibase-2891 is particular suitable for the production of premixed polyether used
in insulation materials of refrigerators and freezer, laminations, insulation pipes and spray.
How to use:
Use levels of 2 to 3 parts Silibase-2891 per 100 parts polyols are suggested. The optimum dosage is determined by the particular foam formulation.
Packaging and Storage:
• Available in 25 liter pail and 200 liter drums.
• 24 months in closed containers.
