Application Description:
As an efficient anti-static agent, SilibaseASA-6600 is an ideal Substitute for 3M in traditional solvent containing products ™ Ionic Liquid Antistat FC-4400， 100% active substance, non-volatile, more environmentally friendly and safe.
SilibaseASA-6600 can be used as an anti-static additive for thermoplastic or thermosetting resins. This product is a crystalline solid at low temperatures (<10℃), but it is prone to melting when heated above its melting point in the original packaging (in an oven or temperature controlled room at 40-60℃). In thermosetting resins, SilibaseASA-6600 is typically dissolved in a mixture of monomers or oligomers before heating or light curing. In thermoplastic materials, SilibaseASA-6600 is melt processed together with resin in an extruder. The concentration of SilibaseASA-6600 is usually between 1-10 wt%, which can effectively eliminate electrostatic charges.

Antistat SilibaseASA-6600 is a liquid above 27℃ (m.p.), but it is nonflammable and has negligible vapor pressure at elevated temperatures. The thermal trigger temperature by TGA is 340℃, making Antistat SilibaseASA-6600 ideal for use in high temperature polymer melt processing and injection molding applications. Its wide liquid range also simplifies material handling in production.
