SilibaseWR-1701 Bondcrete Waterproofing is clear colorless liquid with a characteristic odor.
SilibaseWR-1701 is suitable for water-repellent impregnation of construction materials. It increases their resistance to alkalis and reduces water absorption, thus improving durability. It is practically insoluble in water. It hydrolyzes slowly in the presence of moisture (ethanol is released) to form reactive silanols, which can react with themselves to produce siloxanes.

SilibaseWR-1701 Bondcrete Waterproofing can be used as a surface modifier to generate hydrophobicity and to increase compatibility to organic nonpolar matrices.
It can be used in the production of silane crosslinking formulations.
