Silicone defoamer:
Ordinary pure silicone has no defoaming effect, but the surface tension can be quickly reduced after emulsification, and a small amount of it can achieve rapid defoaming and foam suppression performance during the test. As an important component of the defoamer industry, it is generally polymerized with silicone oil as a solvent and emulsifier. It can be used in water-based systems or oily systems. It is non-toxic, fast defoaming, and antioxidant , Tasteless, no side effects and other characteristics.

Polyether defoamer has a very low breakage rate. When a large amount of foam is generated, it cannot be effectively eliminated in time. The only unique feature is its long-lasting foam suppression performance. Silicone defoamers are different. A small amount can achieve rapid defoaming and long-lasting foam suppression. However, if the problem is not solved in the emulsification process, its performance will be seriously affected.
Silicone defoamers are mainly composed of silicone oil, which can still achieve good defoaming and anti-foaming effects at lower concentrations. Silicone defoamers have better stability. Silicone defoamers are Antifoaming agents with strong foaming ability are currently widely used in the water treatment industry. Inorganic silicon defoamers are mainly made of non-silicon defoamers of high-carbon alcohol ether emulsion type without organic silicon, which are mainly compounded by hydrocarbon compounds, high-carbon alcohols, ester compounds and other substances through special processes. Carbon alcohol defoaming agent, the appearance is milky white liquid, the PH value is between 6.0-8.0, it has a good balance of defoaming and suppressing foam, and the system dispersibility is relatively good. Since the non-silicon defoaming agent does not contain silicone components, Will not cause silicon spots to remain on the tank wall, easy to clean the equipment, mainly used to add to water-based glue, water-based paint, water-based ink and other products will not cause product shrinkage and fish eyes, often used in circulating cooling water treatment, water-based paint, Water-based inks and other industries where silicone defoamers cannot be used. The addition amount is 100-1000ppm, which can effectively control the foam produced in the production process. The amount is different according to different processes.
