basic introduction
Amino silicone oil is the basic ingredient specially used in textile softening finishing agent. It has the best adsorption, compatibility and easy emulsification. Using a mixer or a homogenizer, amino silicone oil is easily emulsified into a stable and transparent microemulsion by an appropriate surfactant. It can be used alone or combined with other organic silicon or organic softeners to become a special softening finishing agent, suitable for soft finishing of various textiles. The ammonia value of amino silicone oil is between 0.2 and 1.2. The higher the ammonia value, the better the softness and smoothness, but the greater the yellowing.

Choose
In general, according to conventional requirements, the selection of amino silicone oil for different fabrics is:
①Pure cotton and blended knitted fabrics and woven fabrics are mainly soft hand feeling, mainly amino silicone oil with 0.6 ammonia value can be selected;
②Pure polyester fabric, mainly with smooth hand feeling, can choose amino silicone oil with 0.3 ammonia value;
③Silk knitted fabrics and woven fabrics are mainly smooth and have high requirements for gloss. Mainly choose amino silicone oil with 0.3 ammonia value, and compound smoothing agent to increase gloss;
④Wool and its blended fabrics require soft, smooth, elastic and comprehensive hand feeling, with little color change. Amino silicone oil compound products with 0.6 ammonia value and 0.3 ammonia value can be selected, and some varieties can be compounded with smoothing agent to increase elasticity and gloss;
⑤Cashmere sweaters and cashmere fabrics have a higher comprehensive feel than wool fabrics, and high-concentration compound products can be selected;
⑥Nylon hosiery, mainly with smooth hand feeling, choose high elastic amino silicone oil;
⑦Acrylic Raschel blankets, acrylic and blended yarns are mainly soft and require high elasticity. Amino silicone oil with 0.6 ammonia value can be selected to take into account the elasticity requirements;
⑧ Hemp fabrics (flax, ramie) are mainly smooth, mainly choose amino silicone oil with 0.3 ammonia value;
⑨ Rayon and rayon are mainly soft hand feeling, amino silicone oil with 0.6 ammonia value can be selected;
⑩ Polyether modified silicone oil (CGF) can be selected for polyester alkali-reducing fabric, mainly to improve the hydrophilicity of the fabric. It is composed of methyl hydrogen-containing silicone oil and polyethylene glycol and polypropylene glycol with unsaturated bonds at the end. Ether is made by the hydrosilylation reaction. But the flexibility is poor. The new polyether modified silicone oil introduces reactive epoxy groups on the silicone chain, which improves the feel and durability of the fabric.
Amino silicone oil softener is a substance that can increase the flexibility of fiber materials. The softener with excellent performance can also give the fiber a special feel, give the product a different finishing style, improve the quality level and added value, and increase the wearing comfort of the clothing. The softeners used in industry can be divided into four categories: grease type, surface active agent type, reactive type and polymer type according to their main active ingredients. The softeners used in the early days were mainly the first three categories. After entering the 70s, the development and use of polymer softeners quickly attracted people's attention and became the mainstream of soft finishing. Among the polymer softener series, silicone softener (main component is polyorganosiloxane) has the best performance and the largest output. According to statistics, about 150,000 tons of siloxane are currently used in textile finishing auxiliaries in the world, of which softeners account for 70% to 80%.
