The advantages of silicone defoamers

(5) Physiologically Inert: Silicone oil has been shown to be non-toxic to humans and animals with a lethal dose greater than 34 g / kg. Therefore, silicone defoamers (with suitable non-toxic emulsifier, etc.) can be safely used in food, medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
(6) strong defoaming: silicone defoamer not only can effectively break the foam has been generated, but also significantly inhibited the foam, to prevent the formation of foam. It is used in very small quantities and is defoamed as long as one millionth of the weight of the foaming medium is added (1 ppm). Its common range is 1 to 100ppm.
